FAQs …
Do I need to book?
While booking is no longer compulsory, please note that we do sell out at busy times and tickets may not be available on the door. Additionally, any special offers are often “online booking only” so we still advise booking. We are generous with our refund/re-scheduling policy as long as we a little notice via email or messenger, so please book with confidence that you won’t lose your money should disaster strike. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE NON-BOOKED ENTRIES WHEN WE ARE TOO BUSY.
Can I visit the farm as well?
You need a combi-ticket to do so. You’ll find combi-tickets for a joint farm and play barn visit on the Children’s Farm booking calendar, not here. (visit their website by clicking here). We advise allowing about 4 hours to be split across both attractions but we don’t operate strict timings for combi-ticket holders.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
For gift vouchers, click here. Voucher holders do not need to book and all your family are guaranteed entry so please feel free to use your vouchers and pay for any extras on the door (unless you prefer to book for any additional paying visitors in advance)

Can I cancel or reschedule?
We ask for a 2 hours notice so we have the chance to re-release your ticket for sale. After that, cancellation or rescheduling is at the manager’s discretion but if the reason is genuine then we are always helpful. When cancelling, we will usually refund your full ticket price minus the small transaction fee.
What age is the play centre suitable for?
As a guide our main Play Zone is recommended for (but not restricted to) children aged 4-10. We also have baby zones and toddler zones for younger children although there is less space dedicated to these age groups.
Are the children supervised?
Whilst we do have play monitors circulating, we are non-supervised play facility and ask you to take responsibility for your child’s safety and behaviour. Staff are there to watch the general flow of children and to keep an eye out for reckless behaviour, but they do not take responsibility for your or other children’s behaviour. They can neither predict nor prevent accidents, especially where these involve misuse of the equipment. You should ascertain your child’s capability to use the play equipment in it’s intended way before they enter it and we ask that you ensure that your children behave appropriately. Should you have any issues with behaviour or equipment please raise them with staff. Most problems can be dealt with quickly and quietly so we advise you to come to us.
Disabilities/SEN information
We are an accessible site with good access and with disabled toilets.
Trained assistance dogs are welcome with the proviso that they are trained to be calm and obedient in the context of our busy play barn. It helps our staff if you have identification using a scheme such as ADUK. Should any dog be demonstrating behaviours that may put a visitor at risk then we will ask for your dog to be taken outside.
Specific Requirements: we welcome many visitors with needs that may require more attention from our staff. Generally, we do not need any notice of your visit and we welcome all visitors regardless of need or ability. However, should your child (or client) have specific difficulties that you would like our staff to be aware of so that they can respond appropriately should you need their support, then please discuss this at the point of entry. Our staff are proud to be supportive of our visitors but at times, new staff may be unsure how to help, so please ask for them to call a manager should you require more assistance.
